NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 65-year-old man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver as he crossed a Bronx street on Saturday morning, police said.
The victim, who has not been identified, was struck at Third Avenue and E. 155th Street in the Melrose section around 4 a.m., according to police.
The man was found in the roadway and rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police haven't yet released a description of the driver's vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.
