NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 70-year-old man was sucker-punched while sitting on a Brooklyn subway bench, police said Friday as they released images of a suspect in the unprovoked attack.

The victim was seated at the D-line platform inside the Bay Parkway station in Bath Beach around 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 25 when he was assaulted at random, police said.

A man wearing sweats and sporting a "large beard" came up and slugged him in the face unprovoked, according to cops.

The assailant immediately fled and was last seen exiting the station on foot. Video shows him hopping a turnstile around the time of the attack.

The victim suffered minor injuries. EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, where he was listed in stable condition.
