NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating the death of a man found dead inside his home office in Queens on Monday night, authorities said.
Just before 10 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious man inside of 196-04 Hillside Avenue in the Hollis neighborhood.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 71-year-old Roland Eicher lying face down within a second-floor home office, with trauma to his face and head.
EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing.
