NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a man accused of robbing a senior of his chain on a Brooklyn street earlier this month.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, a 73-year-old man was approached from behind by the suspect at the intersection of 86th Street and Bay Parkway in Bath Beach.
According to police, the suspect grabbed a chain from around the victim's neck and forcibly removed it, causing bruises to the victim's neck.
The victim sustained minor injury to the neck but refused medical attention.
The suspect fled on foot to parts unknown.
