Man, 74, pushed out of bus, seriously injured in the Bronx; suspect sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released a photo of a man on Friday accused of pushing a 74-year-old man out of a Bronx MTA bus earlier this week, causing him to be seriously injured.

It happened at approximately 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, while the victim was on a BX9 bus in the vicinity of West Kingsbridge Road and Sedgwick Avenue in Kingsbridge Heights, authorities said.

According to officials, the suspect pushed the victim out of the bus causing him to sustain serious physical injury.

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
