NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 98-year-old man was beaten with a broomstick and a metal chair in a Brooklyn lobby, police said Friday as they released images of the woman they’re searching for.
The victim was entering a residential building at Maple Street and Rogers Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens around 3:50 p.m. Thursday when he was approached by a woman who was distributing flyers in the lobby, police said.
The two of them got into an argument, and she attacked him, according to cops.
She allegedly punched and kicked him repeatedly, then used a broomstick and a metal chair to strike him.
She fled the scene on foot, police said. EMS treated the victim for minor injuries.
