NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 98-year-old man was beaten with a broomstick and a metal chair in an attack in Brooklyn, police said Friday as they released images of the woman they’re searching for.
The victim was entering a residential building at Maple Street and Rogers Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens around 3:50 p.m. Thursday when he was approached by a woman distributing flyers, police said.
The two of them got into an argument, and she attacked him, according to cops.
She allegedly punched and kicked him repeatedly, then used a broomstick and a metal chair to strike him.
She fled the scene on foot, police said. EMS treated the victim for minor injuries.
