NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was arrested after he was discovered hiding a body inside his Brooklyn apartment on Tuesday, authorities said.
Reginald Newkirk, 51, was charged with concealment of a human corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and criminal tampering after police found a woman's body, officials said.
According to police, the woman found unconscious just after 7 a.m. at 94 Rockaway Pkwy in East Flatbush.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene and had no visible trauma, the NYPD said.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
The relationship between Newkirk and the woman remains unclear.
An investigation is ongoing.
