Man arrested for killing nephew with machete in Queens: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a man for stabbing his nephew to death with a machete on Sunday morning in Queens’ Jamaica neighborhood.

Neraz Roberts, 29, was discovered with stab wounds to his back and right hand just before 5 a.m. in a house on 187th Place between Hillside and 89th Avenues, according to authorities.

Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

His 50-year-old uncle was arrested with charges pending, officials said.

An investigation into the murder is ongoing.
