NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 25-year-old man accused of trying to lure three young girls into buildings in Brooklyn by asking them to take photos of him with his dog has been arrested, police said.

Brandon Rodriguez, of Brownsville, was arrested and charged with two counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child and one count of unlawful imprisonment on Tuesday, the NYPD said.

Rodriguez allegedly approached a 13-year-old girl near Osborn Street and Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville around 7:40 a.m. on May 24 and asked her to take a photo of him with his dog, police said Monday.

After he asked for the photo, Rodriguez led the girl into a nearby apartment building and “touched her inappropriately,” the NYPD said. He kept the girl from leaving the building by taking her backpack and stationing his dog by the doorway, according to police.

A day later, around 7:10 a.m. on May 25, Rodriguez approached a 12-year-old girl near Christopher and Liberty avenues in Brownsville and asked her to take a picture of him with his dog as well, the NYPD said.

Rodriguez tried to lead the girl into a nearby apartment building, but she got scared and ran off, police said.

A little over an hour later, around 8:30 a.m., Rodriguez approached an 11-year-old girl near Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue and asked her the same question, the NYPD said. That girl also ran away from him, police said.

Rodriguez was caught on surveillance camera walking a dog that appeared to be a Husky, the NYPD said.

His attorney information wasn't immediately available Wednesday.
