NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking for a man wanted for bashing a man's head with a knife handle during a robbery on a Brooklyn street late last month.
At approximately 2:25 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29, the victim, a 34-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 279 Woodbine St. in Bushwick when he was approached from behind by the suspect.
According to police, the man struck the victim in the head with the pommel of a knife.
The suspect then forcibly took the victim's wallet and backpack before he fled westbound on Woodbine Street on foot.
EMS transported the victim to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in stable condition.
