NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released photos of two men wanted in a stabbing that occurred at a Lower East Side park Monday night.
At approximately 9:20 p.m., a 23-year-old man became engaged in a verbal dispute with the suspects inside the Sara D. Roosevelt Park. officials said.
The altercation quickly turned violent when the suspects allegedly punched and stabbed the victim multiple times throughout his body.
The attackers fled the scene on foot, heading north on Chrystie Street.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue where the victim is reported to be in stable condition.
