NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A subway rider taking photos at a Harlem station was beaten by a man who hurled anti-gay insults at him and demanded he "delete that f***ing photo," police said Friday.

The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the Dec. 29 attack at the 125th Street A/C/B/D station. Investigators released photos showing the suspect at the subway stop.

According to police, the 25-year-old victim was snapping photos at the station around 8:30 p.m. that night when he was accosted by the other man, who accused him of taking a photo of him, police said.

"Delete that f***ing photo of me, f****t!" the man allegedly told the victim, using a homophobic slur.

He then punched the victim in the face repeatedly, according to cops.

The victim suffered minor injuries in the attack, police said.

The assailant fled the scene and remained at large Friday.
