Man beaten, slashed during dispute on UWS street: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released photos of two suspects accused of beating a man and slashing him during an argument on an Upper West Side street earlier this month, authorities said.

The incident happened at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 2,
in front of 2049 Broadway when a 33-year-old man was engaged in a dispute with two suspects who struck him in the head with an umbrella and slashed his forearm with an unknown cutting instrument, officials said.

The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.

EMS transported the man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
