
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man broke into an apartment in Manhattan and stole over $15,000 in property including a licensed firearm last week, police said.

The suspect broke into a man’s apartment on East 30th and 3rd Avenue in Kips Bay around 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 through a back door of the building, authorities said.
After getting into the building, the burglar made his way up to the 6th floor where he broke into the 53-year-old victim’s apartment, according to officials.
Once inside, the man stole a licensed MP45 Firearm and 12 men’s watches before fleeing the scene. In total, the value of the stolen items is approximately $15,900, cops said.
The suspect is described as being between 50-and-55-years-old with a light skin complexion.
