NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a burglar who broke into a Queens synagogue and downed bottles of stolen liquor.

The NYPD released images Friday of the man they’re after in the Dec. 7 burglary in a synagogue at 72nd Drive and 147th Street in Kew Gardens Hills.

According to police, the suspect used a coat hanger to open a basement door around 3 p.m. and then stole two bottles of liquor, which he consumed using plastic cups.

Surveillance images appear to show the suspect toasting a surveillance camera before fleeing the scene on foot.

No injuries were reported in the burglary.
