NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police arrested a man with a knife and a screwdriver in connection with a slashing at a Midtown subway station early Monday morning.

Charges were pending against the man, who was nabbed shortly after the 1:20 a.m. assault at the 50th Street A/C/E station in Hell’s Kitchen.

While a knife and screwdriver were found on him, it’s unclear which was used in the slashing, sources told 1010 WINS.

The suspect and a 48-year-old man were in some sort of dispute on the northbound C platform when the argument turned physical, police said.

Officers responding to a 911 call found the victim with multiple slash wounds to his neck.

He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.

The slashing came hours after a man was stabbed and wounded on an L-train platform at a station in Bushwick on Sunday evening.
