NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was stabbed in the arm on a subway platform in Brooklyn on Sunday evening, police said as they searched for his attacker.
The 52-year-old victim was on the L-train platform at the Myrtle–Wyckoff Avenues station in Bushwick around 7:20 p.m. at the time of the assault.
The circumstances leading up to the stabbing are unclear, but someone stabbed him in the right arm and fled, police said.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.
No arrests had been made as the investigation continued Monday.
The stabbing took place just hours before a man was slashed across the neck at the 50th Street A/C/E station in Midtown Manhattan early Monday morning. Another man was arrested in the slashing.
