NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the chokehold rape of an unconscious 27-year-old woman in the Bronx earlier this month, police said.
Jason Dickerson was arrested and charged with rape and attempted murder on Tuesday afternoon for the brutal March 11 attack inside an apartment building near Davidson Avenue and West 190 Street.
According to authorities, Dickerson allegedly choked the victim until she passed out and then raped her before fleeing.
The victim suffered lacerations to her nose and mouth as a result of the incident and she was transported to an area hospital by EMS.
