NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a man on Wednesday accused of fatally stabbing his sister in their Harlem apartment, authorities said.
At approximately 8 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at the Lincoln NYCHA Development located at 2135 Madison Ave. in Harlem.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old Shayla Johnson stabbed twice - once to her neck and once to her chest, officials said.
EMS transported the her to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem where she was pronounced dead.
A 26-year-old Rodney Johnson was taken into custody on scene.
He was charged with murder.
