NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD are investigating after a man was shot in the head at a Washington Heights fish market early Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. inside the Seafood King Fish Market located at 3903 Broadway.
A man in his 30s, was shot once in the back of his head, according to officials.
The victim was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in critical condition.
The suspect fled the scene and is believed to have been wearing a black mask and black clothing.
An investigation is ongoing.
