NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was struck and critically injured by a driver who sped through a Bronx gas station and fled the scene, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance images Monday of the vehicle and suspect they're searching for in the Oct. 29 hit-and-run in Morris Heights.


The 44-year-old victim was sitting on a two-wheeled vehicle at the Sunoco at Jerome Avenue and Featherbed Lane just before midnight when a dark-colored Acura sedan sped through the station.

The out-of-control Acura crashed into the victim before its driver sped away, police said.

The victim suffered serious leg trauma. He was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in critical but stable condition.
