
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after a man was fatally struck by a train early Monday in Brooklyn, officials said.
The man jumped in front of an oncoming L train at Sutter Avenue in Brownsville around 6 a.m., according to police.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities described the unidentified victim as possibly homeless.
The MTA tweeted that Canarsie-Rockway Parkway-bound L trains have resumed making normal stops, with some residual delays.
