
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man dragged a woman through an East Village apartment building, pulling her down a staircase, during a sex attack this month, police said Wednesday.
The NYPD released an image of the suspect they’re searching for in a case of sexual abuse from the morning of Friday, Sept. 12.
The 23-year-old victim entered the building at East 7th Street and Second Avenue around 4 a.m. and was grabbed by the man, police said.
He pulled her to the floor and dragged her down the stairs of the building, according to cops.
She was able to escape his grasp, prompting the suspect top flee the building and head westbound on Second Avenue.
The victim suffered pain and bruising to her body. She declined further medical attention at the scene, police said.
