NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Thursday released surveillance footage of a man they are looking to identify who is accused of exposing himself to a housekeeper at a Queens hotel at gunpoint last month.
Police said the incident occurred on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 1:15 p.m., inside informed the Elmhurst Lodge located at 90-51 51st Ave. in the Elmhurst neighborhood.
According to officials, the 46-year-old victim informed the suspect that she was going to clean his room.
The suspect exited the room but remained in the doorway watching her clean the room, authorities said.
The suspect then exposed his penis and began masturbating while watching the victim, before displaying a firearm and making a hand gesture for her to remain quiet as he began walking towards her, the NYPD said.
The victim, in fear for her safety, ran past the suspect and out of the room police said.
The suspect exited and fled in an unknown direction.
There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
Officials described the suspect as an adult male with a dark complexion, medium build with short black hair. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a black hooded winter jacket, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
