NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was killed in Queens on Thursday night when his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend mowed him down with a car, sources told 1010 WINS on Friday.
At about 10:40 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in the vicinity of 101st Street and Liberty Boulevard in Ozone Park.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 23-year-old man lying in the street with severe trauma.
EMS transported him to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he died.
Police believe the girlfriend’s new boyfriend was behind the wheel of the car, according to sources, who said no one is in custody.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending proper family notification.
