NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man died after being shot in a Parkchester apartment on Saturday night, police said.
The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was found by responding officers with a gunshot wound to his head at a Virginia Avenue apartment building around 9 p.m., police said.
He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A firearm was recovered at the scene, police said.
As of Sunday morning, no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
