NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating a shooting at a Brooklyn housing complex Sunday night that left one man dead.
At about 7:20 p.m., officials responded to a 911 call for a male shot at 1008 Saint Marks Ave. in Crown Heights.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unconscious and unresponsive man in his 20s with gunshot wounds to the chest, authorities said.
EMS rushed him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County in critical condition and he was later pronounced dead.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending at this time.
