
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who fired a gun into a Bronx deli earlier this month, striking a 31-year-old woman who was shopping inside.
The man, who was wearing a black ski mask at the time, fired multiple rounds into the JD Food Market Corp. deli on the corner of Dewey Avenue and Quincy Avenue in Throgs Neck around 6:20 p.m. on March 5, according to officials.
The shooter was standing across the street from the deli when he opened fire, authorities said.
A woman shopping inside was reportedly hit in the buttocks. EMS brought her to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
She has since been released.
No one else was injured in the shooting.
