NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Thursday released a photo of a man accused of following and groping a woman at Bronx subway station and then on a train Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 12:10 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was standing on the northbound platform at the East 180th Street train station in Van Nest when she was approached by the suspect who grabbed her buttocks, officials said.
The victim then proceeded to board a northbound 2 train and was followed onto the train by the suspect.
The suspect touched the victim's intimate parts over her clothing at the Allerton Avenue train station before fleeing out of the train, authorities said.
The victim was physically uninjured in this incident.
The suspect was last seen wearing a blacked hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, and white sneakers.
