NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police on Thursday released surveillance footage of a suspect wanted for allegedly following then slashing a woman on a Queens subway train last week.
It happened at approximately 11:44 p.m. on Friday, May 10, in the vicinity of Jackson Avenue and the Queens Plaza station, officials said. officials said.
While aboard a southbound E train, a 22- year-old woman was approached by the suspect who displayed a sharp object and proceeded to slash the victim on the left leg causing a laceration.

He exited the train and fled towards parts unknown.
The victim remained on the train and exited at Lexington Ave - 53rd Street station where she called the police.
EMS transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.
