NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police took a suspect into custody after a man was found dead, with cuts and bruises on his body, inside a Bronx apartment on Wednesday, the NYPD said.
Officers responding to a 911 call around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday found a 38-year-old man dead, with lacerations and bruises to his torso, inside an apartment on Honeywell Avenue, near East 179th Street, in West Farms, police said.
A 27-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with the 38-year-old's death, the NYPD said. An investigation is ongoing.
Police didn't immediately release the 38-year-old man's name. The city's Medical Examiner will determine how he died.
