NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Authorities are investigating the death of a man found repeatedly shot in the hallway of a Bronx residential building early Friday.
At approximately 1:45 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of an aided, unconscious male inside of 1290 Rodman Place in the West Farms neighborhood, officials said.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 39-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive, lying within the second-floor hallway, with gunshot wounds to the torso, according to the NYPD.
EMS transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
