NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD launched an investigation after a man was discovered fatally stabbed on a Brooklyn street Monday evening, officials said.
Police responded to a 911 call of a male stabbed at the corner of Bath Avenue and Bay Parkway, in the Bath Beach neighborhood at approximately 6:35 p.m. on Monday, April 26.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 30-year-old Ilya Ifraimov lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive, with a stab wound to the chest, authorities said.

Ifraimov lived just steps from where he was found, according to the NYPD.
EMS transported the victim to NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn, where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
