NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was placed into police custody on Thursday night for the fatal stabbing of his girlfriend in the Bronx, authorities said.
At around 10:35 p.m., officers responded to 2552 Holland Ave. in Allerton for a 911 call of a woman stabbed inside the home.
Upon arrival, officials discovered a 23-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds to her neck.
The woman was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where she was pronounced dead.
Police arrested her 35-year-old boyfriend at the scene.
Officials also recovered a knife at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
