NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man after two NYPD officers were injured in a crash where he fled a traffic stop in Brooklyn last week, authorities said Friday as they released a photo of a suspect.

At approximately 7:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, two police officers were attempting to conduct a lawful car stop at Glenwood Road and Ralph Avenue in Canarsie when the unidentified driver fled the location in the vehicle.

The officers sustained injuries in a vehicle collision with a separate uninvolved vehicle, officials said.

The officers were transported to an area hospital in stable condition. The unidentified driver fled to parts unknown.

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray winter coat and red jeans.
