NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The NYPD is investigating a menacing incident in which a stranger went into a Dunkin' in Chelsea and dropped a box on the counter that contained a bullet labeled with an employee's name, police said.
On Dec. 13 at around 10:26 a.m. a man entered a Dunkin' at 102 Eighth Ave. and placed a box on the counter without a word, cops said.
Officials said the box contained a bullet, and both the box and bullet were labeled with the name of a 34-year-old employee.
The suspect was last seen entering the 14th Street subway station nearby.
There were no injuries reported in relation to this incident.
The suspect was last seen wearing a light jacket and black pants, as depicted in photos provided by the NYPD, and is described as 6'0" tall with a thin build.
