Bigot throws bag of dog poop at man in antisemitic SoHo hate crime

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Investigators are searching for a man who earlier this month threw a bag of dog poop at a victim in lower Manhattan in a disturbing antisemitic hate crime.

A 32-year-old man was outside of 46 Howard Street, located near Broadway in SoHo, at about 2 p.m. on June 4 when he was approached by a stranger.

The suspect began making antisemitic statements to the man before throwing a bag of dog poop at him, which landed inside of his car.

The victim was uninjured, and the suspect fled the location on a bicycle.

This incident is being investigated as aggravated harassment as a hate crime by the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force. Police released surveillance images of the suspect on Saturday night.
