NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is working to find a man accused of riding up to people in the Bronx on a stolen moped and snatching their cellphones.
According to officials, on April 24, at approximately 5 p.m., a 34-year-old man parked a moped in front of 2454 Tiebout Ave. in Fordham Heights, and it was allegedly stolen by the suspect.
Between then and May 1, the thief rode up to victims in the Bronx, grabbing their phones our of their hand at least nine times before speeding off.
