NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was struck and killed by a 2 train Thursday morning while he was on the tracks at a Bronx subway station, police said.

It’s unclear how the man ended up on the tracks at the 149th Street–Grand Concourse station before he was hit by a southbound 2 train at 7:30 a.m.

First responders found him unconscious and unresponsive, and he was later pronounced dead. He hasn't yet been identified.

The MTA said that 2/3/4/5 trains were running with delays in both directions.
