NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Friday released photos of a pair of suspects wanted for pistol-whipping a man during a robbery in Brooklyn last week, authorities said.
At approximately 9:10 a.m. on Friday, September 15, a 44-year-old man was in the vicinity of West 15th Street and Mermaid Avenue in Coney Island, when the suspects approached him from behind and struck him with a firearm.
A physical altercation ensued and the suspects displayed the firearm while stealing the victim’s Rolex watch, necklace and iPhone.
The unidentified males then fled the location in a black BMW with New Jersey plates, going northbound on West 15th Street.
The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention.
The victim's watch was valued at approximately $5,550 and his necklace was valued at approximately $6,000, according to officials.
