NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was punched in the face and robbed in the middle of the afternoon on a Brooklyn subway train, police said Sunday as they released surveillance images of a suspect.
The 33-year-old victim was aboard a southbound Q train approaching the Dekalb Avenue station in downtown Brooklyn at 2:50 p.m on May 8 when he was punched in the face, police said.
The person who punched him then stole $200 from his wallet, according to police.
Police said the victim got off of the train at Dekalb Avenue. The seriousness of his injuries aren't known.
