
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage Friday of a man wanted in connection with a hate crime assault that left two men inured in Hell's Kitchen on Sunday.
According to police, at approximately 12:15 a.m., two men —ages 25 and 28—were walking in front of 411 West 52nd St. when they were confronted by the suspect who allegedly made several anti-LGBTQIA+ statements before punching them both in the face.
The attacker then fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound on West 52nd Street.
Both victims sustained minor injuries but declined on-site medical help.
The suspect was last seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers.
The incident is being investigated by the NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force.
