NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a suspect who punched a pregnant woman in the face as she rode a Queens subway train on Tuesday evening, sources told 1010 WINS.
The 37-year-old pregnant woman was onboard a J train at the Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer subway station when the suspect approached.
He punched the victim in the face, causing lacerations, bruises and pain to her right eye, officials said. She was not hospitalized.
The suspect fled the station on foot to parts unknown, cops said.
Police released surveillance footage of the alleged assailant on Wednesday in the hope that someone recognizes him.
He is described as being a man with facial hair, a light complexion and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans and black and white shoes.
