NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 65-year-old woman was punched in an apparently random assault on a Queens street, police said Saturday as they released surveillance images of a suspect.
The victim was near 32nd Street and 30th Avenue in Astoria last Friday night when she was attacked, according to police.
The man came up to her and punched her in the chest around 9:40 p.m., police said.
EMS responded to the scene and took the woman to Astoria General Hospital, where she was treated for pain and bruising.
