NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released footage on Tuesday of a man wanted in connection with the assault of a 76-year-old woman in Queens earlier this month.
The assault happened on Aug. 6 at around 2 p.m., when an unidentified man approached the victim at 63rd Street and Queens Boulevard in Woodside, according to police.
The suspect pushed the woman to the ground, causing injuries to her lower back and right hip. He then fled westbound on foot toward Queens Boulevard.
EMS responded and transported the victim to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she is in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a man with a heavy build and light complexion. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a light pink T-shirt, khaki shorts and carrying a white plastic bag.
