NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man they say randomly slashed a woman in Harlem last month.
The 21-year-old woman was walking near West 135th Street and Amsterdam Avenue around 8:10 p.m. on April 25 when the man approached her from behind and slashed her back and shoulder with a sharp object, the NYPD said Thursday.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, police said.
Her attacker fled east on West 135th Street, the NYPD said.
