NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man on a moped was fatally struck by a truck in Brooklyn on Wednesday, the New York Post reported.
The 39-year-old victim was riding on Palmetto Street in Bushwick around 5 p.m. when a truck hit him as it tried to turn right on Central Avenue, cops told the Post.
The man, whose name has not yet been released, was transported to Wyckoff Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the 33-year-old truck driver remained on the scene.
