NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a suspect accused of robbing a man at knifepoint while aboard a Lower Manhattan subway train Thursday morning.
At approximately 8:10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, a 51-year-old man was aboard a southbound J train at the Chambers Street subway station when the suspect approached him and displayed a knife while demanding his cellphone.
The victim handed over his cellphone to the suspect who fled on foot to parts unknown.
There were no injuries reported.
