NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man sexually abused a woman on a Manhattan subway train and then shoved her and smashed her phone when she confronted him on Monday morning, police said.
The 23-year-old woman was aboard a southbound 1 train heading to the 28th Street station in Chelsea around 11:25 a.m. when the man came up and put his exposed privates on her right arm, according to police.
When the two got off the train at the 28th Street station, the woman confronted the man and began taking photos of him, police said.
The man grabbed the woman's phone out of her hand and threw it to the ground, damaging it, according to police.
The man then shoved the woman before fleeing the area, police said.
The woman was not physically injured, according to police.
The NYPD on Tuesday released surveillance images of a suspect, who they believe is in his 30s.
