NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a gunman after a man and woman were shot at the Drew Hamilton Houses in Harlem on Monday, officials said.

The shooting happened just after 2:30 p.m. at 2680 Frederick Douglass Blvd., one of the NYCHA complex’s residential buildings.

A man in his 30s was shot in the torso and left arm, police said.

The apparent bystander—a 40-year-old woman—suffered a graze wound to her lower back.

Both victims were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem and are expected to recover, authorities said.

Police said that the suspect is a man last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black ski mask. After the shooting he fled eastbound toward 7th Avenue.
